Celebrating International Women's Day at USB2U

With International Women’s Day last weekend, we are highlighting just some of our amazing women and their achievements and journeys in the workplace. Read on to see the stories from some of our fantastic female-identifying people.

Natalie - Managing Director

Natalie – Managing Director

Natalie joined in 2010 as an Account Manager after graduating from Warwick University with a BA in English and German. At this point, USB2U only had around 10 staff members.

After 2 years, in Sept 2012, Natalie was promoted to Head of Sales and played a big part in growing the business with over 25 members of staff.  

After her first child, she returned as Head of Marketing and Commercial Development in 2021 working a part-time role (80% hours).

Natalie then went on maternity leave again at the end of 2023, and returned taking on the Managing Director role in Jan 2025 (75% hours)

 

Rachael - Finance

Rachael – Finance Assistant (Maternity Cover)

Rachael was a very busy Hairdresser of 18 years before redundancy hit throwing her into a new challenge.

Rachael has since invested in herself becoming a qualified finance administrator to create a new career path to excel in. Rachael joined us in 2024 and is continuing her finance qualifications while working with us.

 

Cassidy - Account Executive

Cassidy – Account Executive

After college completing a sports coaching and development level 3, Cassidy sought out a new career plan. After careful consideration and research Cassidy chose an apprenticeship route.

Cassidy is working hard studying her apprenticeship remotely alongside working full time as our Sales Executive. At the end of her apprenticeship, Cassidy will be a qualified business administrator with 18 months of experience in the workplace.

‘I was lucky enough to pick up a great apprentice position in business administration with USB2U where I feel I am learning not only more about my position every day but also life skills that will help me long term! ‘

 

Sara - Marketing Manager

Sara – Creative Marketing Manager

Sara has worked for USB2U for 3 years now but completed her work experience in our design team nearly 10 years ago. Sara achieved an Art foundation diploma and then went on to graduate in Graphic Communications before joining us again in 2022.

She has since evolved in her role from Junior Designer while completing the final stages of her degree to Creative Marketing Manager. Sara continues to study marketing taking on various courses keeping on top of current trends and changes in the world of marketing.
