Business Events
Are you planning on attending any seminars, training courses, conferences, or shareholder meetings this year? If you are then you’ll need to register yourself as an attendee, and as part of this registration process it’s highly likely that you’ll end up with a name badge of some sort so that you can identify yourself, and likewise be identified by people you meet. In some cases the ID badges also determine your levels of access on the day.

Depending on the scale of the event, you may receive just a simple paper badge with your basic details, attached to a lanyard or pin/clip for your lapel. However, you may be surprised and receive something a bit more technical - a USB name badge that includes pre-loaded data to take home afterwards. Typical files include speaker’s notes’, PowerPoint slides, training manuals, medial files and marketing brochures. Not only does this save the event organisers’ and sponsors money on printing and shipping costs, it also means you won’t be weighed down by the end of the day with reams of paperwork to sift through!

Barcode Badges
Another way event organisers’ may choose to use these badges are as simple barcode holders. Instead of buying badges with inbuilt memory, it is possible to buy “dumb” badges, that only hold a barcode or QR code that delegates can scan to be taken to the event website or social media accounts. If the badges are to be sent out in advance, this is a good way of directing attendees to the information they need.

However you choose to use them, USB name badges are a real win-win, and they look set to shake up the name badge market over the next few years. Our minimum order quantity is only 25 pcs, and we also offer a data pre-loading service, loading thousands of USB sticks per day!
