Every Autumn, our partner factories in China take a weeks' holiday at the start of October, where their staff travel to see family members across the country or take a well earned vacation. October 2021 is no different, and here at USB2U HQ in Northampton, we are preparing ourselves for the disruption this typically creates for the promotional industry in the UK.
What does this mean for USB2U's customers? Essentially, lead times and sometimes pricing for standard delivery USB orders may increase temporarily around this time due to seasonal demand coupled with the backlog of orders placed over the holiday period.
As such, we recommend that any order of USB sticks (as well as selected models of power bank or other tech gifts) required for events in September and October at least are placed with us ideally prior to Wednesday 15th September, in order to beat the delays.
